Very excitingly myself and my colleague Helle can announce another drawing holiday in 2025, now in it’s seventh year. Our holiday is based in Kalymnos a beautiful unspoilt island in the Dodecanese.

 

You will be drawing and painting the locals, Helle finds fantastic models who live and work on the island.

 

We include a couple of day trips to explore the island often including a swim and a wonderful lunch or a walk, this year we are heading to Pserimos!! A tiny island 45 minutes by boat from Kalymnos, it has the most beautiful sandy beaches and no streets.

 

We will visit the popular Pirates beach, a gorgeous beach with reggae wafting through the trees and the most amazing family who are prepared to model, from teenagers to grandmothers, all absolutely brilliant to draw!

 

This year Helle is organising a trip to Vathy finishing with a meal in the capital of Kalymnos, Pothia, a gorgeous port with a range of fantastic restaurants.We will also have an evening trip to the tiny island of Telendos to see the sunset whilst enjoying a lovely meal.

 

Timing of drawing sessions will be 9:30 to 11:30 (Coffee) then 12:00 to 2:00.

 

You will have two models each drawing day (four days). These new timings mean you have all afternoon to enjoy your day, go swimming, shopping, sleeping!
