This is a drawing and painting holiday on the island of Kalymnos. 

Myself and Helle are organising Portraits in Paradise for 2027 at the time of publishing.

On this drawing holiday you will be drawing and painting the locals, Helle finds fantastic models who live and work on the island.

I find the students and do all the teaching.

Everything is organised for you, allowing you to relax and have time to concentrate on your creative journey.

 

We include a couple of day trips to explore the island often including a swim and a wonderful lunch or a walk, next year we are heading to Pserimos!! A tiny island 45 minutes by boat from Kalymnos, it has the most beautiful sandy beaches and no streets.

 

We hope to visit the popular Pirates beach, a gorgeous beach with reggae wafting through the trees and the most amazing family who are prepared to model, from teenagers to grandmothers, all absolutely brilliant to draw!

 

For next year Helle is organising a trip to Pothia finishing with a meal in the capital, a gorgeous port with a range of fantastic restaurants. We will also have an evening trip to the tiny island of Telendos to see the sunset whilst enjoying a lovely meal.

 

Timing of drawing sessions will be 9:30 to 11:30 (Coffee) then 12:00 to 2:00.

 

You will have two models each drawing day, that's four drawing hours per day (five days). These new timings mean you have all afternoon to enjoy your day, go swimming, shopping, sleeping!
